The Keystone House Editorial
Thoughtful editorial assessment, manuscript development, and book positioning for nonfiction and literary projects.
We accept a limited number of projects each month.
Editorial Principles
Most editorial feedback is rushed, a manuscript read once and returned with surface notes. A book deserves more careful attention than that, which is why we accept a limited number of projects each month and evaluate every manuscript against five principles.
Who This Is For
We work with authors who have a clear book idea, a serious manuscript, and the willingness to revise.
We do not currently accept academic theses, children's books, poetry-only manuscripts, or projects requiring ghostwriting.
Services
01
For authors who are still building or restructuring the book.
02
For authors with a completed draft who need an in-depth editorial assessment.
03
For authors preparing to publish or relaunch a book.

Our Editorial Process
Complete the inquiry form below. Your email opens automatically, pre-filled and ready to send.
Every project is reviewed for editorial fit, manuscript readiness, genre alignment, scope, and availability.
Accepted projects receive a private invitation with the recommended service, scope, timeline, and price.
Once accepted, the manuscript is submitted in full and the project is officially booked.
The completed editorial report and recommendations are delivered by the agreed date.
Project Acceptance. To maintain the quality and depth of our editorial work, we accept a limited number of projects. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance.
Projects are selected based on editorial fit, manuscript readiness, scope, genre, timeline, and current availability. If we believe another service, editor, or stage of development would better serve the project, we will say so directly.
